Workshop – 30 minutes breakout session (during lunch break)

The Automotive Industry on its way from car manufacturing to digital mobility services – Mobility service platforms will decide on the future success

The Automotive industry is facing its biggest change in its history of more than 100 years, driven by the need for alternative mobility offerings and the digital transformation. Digital innovations – virtual platforms, big data, artificial intelligence, low latency mobile communication or blockchain technology – will create opportunities for new mobility services and business models, which will change the rules of the game fundamentally. Future business success will essentially depend on the capabilities to develop new business models, create eco-systems and to adopt new technologies. The breakout session will be opened with a short presentation in order to stimulate a lively dialoge and discussion of the participants.
